The Lithuanian Chamber of Commerce in the UK (LCCUK) has announced that it has elected Aiste Naujokaityte as its new President.
Naujokaityte was appointed at the annual general meeting held virtually on 1st of May, taking over from outgoing President, Diana Skolaite.
“It’s an honour to be elected President of the Chamber. I am taking over at a time of economic and political instability and an uncertain outlook for business, particularly in the face of Convid¬-19 and Brexit. I will look to support businesses through the tough times, ensuring successful cooperation between Lithuania and the UK, creating a strong business community, organising events and expanding the network of entrepreneurs, investors and leaders”.
After graduating in real estate development at John Moores University in Liverpool Aiste returned to live and work in Vilnius Lithuania. Here she was responsible for international business development and worked with Latvia, Estonia, Spain, UK and many other countries. She has extensive international sales experience, with 10 years in real estate and 7 years working in the B2B sector. On returning to the UK, Aiste continues her professional career in London as a Client Director at the pioneering MIT Ventures – Employee Engagement.
The Lithuanian Chamber of Commerce in the United Kingdom was established in June 2008 and is dedicated to connect and assist businesses in the UK and Lithuania. LCCUK remains dedicated to supporting industry, education and charitable causes in Lithuania and the UK. Over the years, LCCUK has organised various events enabling members and guests to come together and connect to help further working relationships and trade agreements. They hold many regular events such as the Ambassador’s Golf Tournament and a Charity Gala.
